Saw this movie yesterday. Now usually, I don't enjoy "chick flicks" that much. However, I'm forced to watch them because I am married. C'est la vie!
This one wasn't bad.
Meryl Streep has a face like a bag of spanners, but that trait was well suited to playing Julia Childs, one of the truly ugly women of history.
Amy Adams acting is average, but she's hot, so I can let that slide.
Overall a decent film. One bad point, too fucking long and ended nowhere.
I'll give it 3 out of 5
